If you had your shears sharpened in the past by another service and you were not satisfied by the quality of the job, we will reconstruct the blade at no extra charge. (i.e. if too much critical metal was removed, we will put on the appropriate edge; if your convex edge was replaced with a bevel, we will roll the edge).
All repairs such as balancing, refurbishing the bevel, setting, straightening of blades and replacement of screws and plastic silencers are done free of charge.
Caution:
All shears, when returned, are extremely sharp. Because each blade is individually custom hand honed, they are usually sharper then when bought new. If you are not comfortable or use to a razor edge on your shears, then you can cut a piece of end paper or a paper towel, using the full length of the blades 2-5 times or until desired comfort is reached.

Shear Integrity will accept no trophy swords valued over $3000.
Sword sharpening customers must have written confirmation from Shear Integrity before sending swords for sharpening and repair.
First send photo and detailed description of blades condition before getting written confirmation from Shear Integrity.
In respect to our quality and integrity, please allow 2-4 weeks turnaround on most sword refurbishing.
Shear Integrity, at its own discretion, reserves to right to decline any work deemed unsuitable for sharpening and repair. If any work is deemed unsuitable for sharpening or repair, the customer will be charged only for returned shipping and handling fees.
